Running during the Queensland School Terms on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM, our Gospel Community ministry is a time when we gather as a smaller group to dig deeper into the Bible. We allow for a time of conversation, tea, coffee and chocolates from 6:00 until 6:25 PM, after which we will sing two songs. 

After our singing, we work methodically through a set passage of Scripture seeking to get at the heart of its message. We ask questions about what the original audience of the Scripture may have thought or felt about the message. We consider what the passage reveals to us about who God is and how He interacts with humanity. We consider links to similar passages that aid us in building up a systematic view of the Bible. We seek to find gospel elements of grace and truth, and how the passage either foreshadows or points to God’s ultimate work of grace and love in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, we also consider the application of the text to our lives today as followers of Jesus.

Generally speaking, we aim to keep the Bible Study portion to a 1-hour timeframe, so we usually pack up and return home around 7:30 PM. Come along, as we seek to dig deeper into the 66-book love letter that God wrote and preserved for us through human authors over 3 languages and thousands of years.
